When you click on a piece, it pops up to the very front layer and overlaps with other parts. Merge fragments will not be merged. If you have additional parts, you can hide them behind other parts. You can also lock and drag layers without changing the order of the layers. With two fingers, you can zoom in and out to zoom in and out of the field of view for better control.
